A Huge Thank-You To All StarWalkers and Supporters

The total raised by the StarWalk until this year was around £200,000, all of which was used to support people in North Lancashire and South Lakeland whose lives are affected by cancer.

Please send in your 2009 sponsor money as soon as possible so we can update this total (no later than 1st July please)

The StarWalk has been walked for another year and we would like to say a BIG, sparkly thank you to everyone who took part in StarWalk 2009 on Saturday 9th May. Your beaming smiles and wonderful energy made all the hard work at this end all the more worthwhile. We hope you thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we are enjoying receiving your messages… keep them coming!

Following a somewhat unnerving, torrential downpour in the afternoon, we couldn’t believe our luck to see you all lined up at the start in front of a beautiful pink sunset and hope you enjoyed the full moon that shone over the event as much as we did.

Our sincere thanks also to the many local businesses and entertainers who supported this year’s StarWalk and to all our hard-working volunteers – we couldn’t have done it without you!
